The Founder and Owner of The Curl Lounge ATL! She is dedicated to helping others learn more about their curly hair and guide them along their curly journey.

Growing up biracial, she always had curly hair but never learned to love it until her later years. In high school she "went natural" and started to embrace her curls! Once she graduated, she immediately went to cosmetology school to learn more about hair and beauty. After finishing trade school, she officially went into the career of curly hair to become a curl specialist! She absolutely loves what she does and strives to help others embrace what they have!

Karina is a curly hair stylist with over five years of behind-the-chair experience and has a true passion for working with curls. She's spent the last several months perfecting my craft in curly hair cutting and styling, with a focus on enhancing each client’s natural texture and helping their curls look and feel their best. She started her curly hair journey when she was in high school after taking a cosmetology class, and fell in love with the industry. She has always loved learning about hair products and ingredients, and is currently pursuing a degree in chemistry with the goal of one day formulating products specifically for curly hair. Creating a welcoming, comfortable salon experience and helping clients confidently embrace their curls is at the heart of what she does.

Mayra is a curly hairstylist reentering the hair world after several years away, with a renewed passion for growth, learning, and connection. As someone with curly hair herself, she grew up struggling to love and fully embrace her natural texture, which deeply shaped her journey. Now, she loves helping others feel confident, happy, and empowered in their natural beauty. Her goal is to continue evolving as a stylist, perfecting her craft, and thriving in this new chapter.
